Just a quick post based on what I’m reading at the moment. From J. P. Moreland, Love Your God with all your Mind:

“The Purpose of life is to bring honor to God, to know, love, and obey Him, to become like Him, and to live for His purposes in this world as I prepare to live in the next one.” (Pg. 86)

I am drawn to the way Moreland so thoroughly defines a purpose for this life while maintaining a perspective thoroughly focused on the next one.
